oi mom - stop ignoring me

I'm in my hotel room after working through 15-days straight and spending a gazillion hours on my laptop. The brain is fried. My hands are clawed. And I'm stuck in the 'hunched-over' the computer look that's reminiscent of our Neanderthal ancestors. That's my way of saying a hot bubble bath and a glass of pinot noir is calling, and I'm too pooped to blog this week; but my sister-in-law sent this and it cracked me up. (Probably much more than it should have done ... but hey, that's what happens when we fry our brains!)

Vicki, it does sound as if you've earned yourself some well-deserved R & R. I'll be back next weekend in search for another great article on Bibi's Beat, by far my favorite blog.

Oh, thank you John. You must have been online; I only just posted this!

I hope you get some rest soon. A hot bath and glass of wine sound like a good start. The video made me jump and then laugh.

Video was delightful! :oD

(I went through a period of posting quick one-liners when I was too stressed/busy to blog recently - everyone kept telling me how much they liked this new phase of the blog. The bastards!)

I can definitely identify with that mama panda! Been there/done that.

I find that when I've been working long hours/obsessively that I have a hard time tearing myself away to decompress. It takes a concerted effort. 'Course the flip side is starting up again. :)

ROFL....I needed that--great video! Finished the revisions in a week of hell (not bad hell, just never-ending-work hell). Today and tomorrow I've claimed as mine. Gave myself a pedicure. Booked a massage. Am watching Sex & the City, again. Wrote to my editor and asked bluntly for one extra month on Darkling because I need to take a little time for me over the next few months and that means an hour or two a day of just play time. Crossing fingers on that one.

So now, yes, in decompression mode and you know how bad I've needed it. See you next week for food and fun!

Hugs,
Yazza

Nice glass of wine always sounds good to me.

After reading this I have to go run a bath. Out of Pinot. Will have to be a Tempranillo. Mmmmmm.

Bibi, love the wine and hot bath remedy...add in some yoga for the computer hunch, and you'll be a new woman!

That video gave me a good laugh- I'm thinking of playing it very loudly for my husband who is asleep in front of the TV (again!!)

I was terribly anti PC this week with everything else going on and apologize for not replying to comments sooner. I truly do appreciate all of your comments.

Glad you liked the video and guess what ... I'm heading to a hot bubble bath again, but sadly sans Pinot noir this time :-)
